The program encourages emerging and mid-career artists by providing them a workspace free-of-charge, access to a built-in audience and an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work.

Residencies in clay, metals and fibers for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.

Jacoby Arts Center

The program offers dedicated time, supported working environment, rent-free studio spaces, and opportunities to teach and exhibit through the Jacoby Arts Center.

Jazz St. Louis

Jazz St. Louis’s Artist Residency Program brings professional jazz artists and educators to St. Louis for an entire week.

The artists visit various schools throughout the community, conducting master classes and clinics with small groups of middle and high school musicians.

The Luminary Center for the Arts

Provides dedicated time and a supportive working environment including well-equipped private studios with 24 hour access and wireless internet, additional shared workspace, and access to AV equipment and woodshop.

Offers residencies year-round from one week up to three months.

Opera Theatre of St. Louis

Features two of America’s brightest young opera singers in concert with piano accompaniment for a 45-minute performance, followed by a question and answer session.

This is an excellent opportunity for students and adults to learn from the performers’ point-of-view about vocal training, educational paths, performance, and professional careers in music.

St. Louis Artists Guild

Artists will be given 24-hour access to the printmaking studio and/or darkroom. Work completed during the residency will be exhibited in the St. Louis Artists’ Guild’s galleries.

Offered in Spring and Fall for duration of about 5 months.
