The partially opened leaf from a gingko tree doubles as a fountain on the flagstone patio overlooking the Mississippi River, at the park’s historic museum. The sculpture was dedicated to the memory of Lindell Gordon, and a plaque bears the inscription “The imprint of a dying leaf is wonderous to behold.”
