The Photography Project is modeled after the pioneering community photography programs of internationally recognized photographer, Wendy Ewald and is sponsored by the Public Policy Research Center at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Each year PPRC’s Photography Project teaches community groups how to photograph the work they do to improve the quality of life in St. Louis. The resulting “Point-of-View” exhibits are displayed at two locations: PPRC Gallery on the UMSL campus and in neighborhoods where the volunteers work. In 2007, America SCORES St. Louis collaborated with UMSL to complete a photography project with the students of Bryan Hill Elementary during a special winter programming session. The work was displayed in the College Hill neighborhood.
