The African Film Festival introduces Saint Louis audiences to the latest in African cinema. Through a variety of genres, the films showcase the latest talent and new directions in cinema while highlighting themes in a variety of African countries. The 2017 Festival will run March 31 – April 1 in Brown Hall, Room 100 on Washington University’s Campus.
Each screening of the festival consists of one short film immediately followed by the feature length film. All post-show discussions will occur after the feature. The Youth Matinee will take place on April 2 at 3:00pm and will feature a post-show workshop with animator Abdul Ndadi (Ghana).
