A conversation with artist Gary Logan

Discover how Trinidadian-American artist Gary Logan uses the visual language of abstraction to convey encounters with the sublime and explore challenging dimensions of the human experience. Art historian Olubukola Gbadegesin will lend her perspective as a leading scholar of art in the African Diaspora. The conversation will be moderated by MOCRA Director Terrence Dempsey, S.J.

The conversation takes place in the Anheuser-Busch auditorium in Cook Hall on the SLU campus. It will be followed by a reception at MOCRA, just a short walk from Cook Hall. Gary Logan’s exhibitions “Elements” is currently featured at MOCRA.

Free parking is available on the nearby streets. Free parking is also available in the Canisius lot, located at the northeast corner of Lindell Blvd. and Spring Ave. Visit the event website for a map and directions.
