Gateway Festival Orchestra: “A Summer Carnival”

Gateway Festival Orchestra continues its 55-year tradition of free concerts on Sunday evenings in July. The 50-piece ensemble of professional musicians performs this year onstage at the 560 Music Center. Awaiting completion of upgrades to its customary outdoor venue on the Washington University campus, the Orchestra presently enjoys many benefits unique to 560, including air conditioning and plentiful free parking. Children receive an attendance prize. Notes to Munch On, a pre-concert discussion, begins at 7:10pm, followed by the concert.
