Alarm Will Sound presents “Heard”

Heralded as “one of the most vital and original ensembles on the American music scene” by The New York Times and “Hometown heroes” by the Riverfront Times, Alarm Will Sound stands as a distinctive force in contemporary music. They return to Missouri with HEARD, a program that intertwines music and storytelling to share how composers convey their personal narratives through music. This performance includes an excerpt from “Ligeia Mare,” a new radio opera by STL-native Damon Davis. “Ligeia Mare” is directed by Ron Himes, and features Damon Davis, Aloha Mischeaux, Rockwell J. Knuckles, and Isaiah Taylor.
