Join Art Saint Louis as we celebrate the opening of our late Summer 2018 exhibit, “Menagerie,” presented at Art Saint Louis, 1223 Pine Street in downtown St. Louis, MO. The exhibit is on view August 4-September 13, 2018 and opens with a free reception open to all on Saturday, August 4 from 5-7 p.m. All are welcome. Gallery open M-F 8-4, Sat. 9-3. “Menagerie” is a multi-media visual art exhibition featuring 60 artworks that depict or feature animals, critters, beasts, creatures—both real and imagined. This show is actually a follow-up to our wildly successful 2016 exhibit, “Creatures,” which artists and gallery visitors alike enjoyed so much that we decided to create “Menagerie” to explore the theme even further. This juried exhibit was open to St. Louis regional artists, including artists in the 200-mile radius. Artists must be 21+ in order to be considered for our shows. For “Menagerie,” 258 artworks were submitted by 108 St. Louis regional artists by Jurors Amy Bautz & Phil Jarvis.
