Autobiography — Company Wayne McGregor

Dance St. Louis continues its 53rd season of presenting world-class dance from across the country and beyond with a one-night-only performance of the prestigious British dance company, Company Wayne McGregor.

The London-based company, composed of 10 highly skilled international dancers, is lauded for its “signature elasticity” (The New York Times), hyper-flexibility, glorious execution and extreme athleticism. It was founded in 1993 by multi-award-winning British choreographer/director Wayne McGregor (Resident Choreographer, The Royal Ballet; commissioned choreographer, Paris Opera Ballet, American Ballet Theatre; choreographer Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire).

Company Wayne McGregor performs the Midwest premiere of McGregor’s latest work Autobiography, which was inspired by his DNA. It’s a multilayered, mysteriously beautiful production showcasing masterful choreographic portraits and sheer technical sophistication. Don’t miss this Midwest premiere!
