Being Played: Artist Talk with Michael Drummond

Join fashion designer Michael Drummond for a gallery talk about his latest solo exhibition, Michael Drummond: Being Played, featuring garments inspired by the intersection of chess, fashion, and the world’s current climate crisis. Learn more about the pieces on view as Michael discusses his processes and various inspirations. Following the talk, Drummond and fashion editor Sarah Stallmann will engage in a dialogue, expanding on the topics and themes presented in the exhibition and will answer questions from the audience.

A multi-faceted artist and fashion designer, Michael Drummond is a veteran of Project Runway with a clientele including actress Tika Sumpter, New York Fashion Week Founder Fern Malis, and supermodel television host Heidi Klum.
