Between Here & Ferguson: A Retrospective

In remembrance of the 5-year anniversary since Michael Brown Jr. and Vonderrit Meyers Jr. were shot and fatally killed by police officers in St. Louis, which sparked a national conversation on race and police brutality, Humans of St. Louis (HOSTL) and Saint Louis University (SLU) invite you to the exhibition Between Here & Ferguson: A Retrospective.
The hope for this exhibit is to reflect and remind ourselves what it was like to experience Ferguson as it was happening, open a door for those who may not have witnessed these perspectives, and walk through what happened to learn together as we move forward towards the future.
DATES: August 9th, 2019 – 2020
HOURS: Everyday, 8 AM – 8 PM
LOCATION: The main corridor of the SLU Busch Student Center, 20 N Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63103
CURATED BY: Jonathan C. Smith, SLU Vice President of Diversity and Community Engagement Lindy Drew, HOSTL Co-Founder and Lead Storyteller
This exhibition is free and open to the public of all ages.
