“CELEBRATING THE POWER OF DREAMS: THE ANNIE MALONE STORY”

A Call to Conscience Interactive Theater for Social Change (C2C) in partnership with the Annie Malone Historical Society will present a retrospective look at the life of Annie M. Turnbo Pope Malone focusing on what would represent her fourth business expansion and the cornerstone of her international empire. November 2018 will mark the 100th-anniversary of the Poro College Complex once located in the historic “Ville” Neighborhood.

“Celebrating the Power of Dreams” was written by St. Louis award-winning playwright, Mariah Richardson based on the writings and research of Linda M. Nance and Linda F. Jones of the Annie Malone Historical Society. Directed by C2C Artistic Director, Fannie Belle Lebby and choreographed by celebrated Vivian Watt, “Celebrating the Power of Dreams” will take you back to Malone’s childhood up until the opening of the famous Poro College.

Sunday, enjoy the new brunch menu at Cafe St. Louis on the Museum’s upper level (price range $7-$14).
