Chinese Brush Painting at The Magic House

Brush up on the ancient Chinese art form of brush painting with Ping Yan. Ping
shares her techniques for painting bamboo, flowers, birds and other traditional
subjects. Visitors can see examples of this artwork in the Museum’s exhibit,
Children’s China.

Ping Yan began painting at an early age in China. In addition to Chinese brush
painting, Ping works with a variety of media including colored pencil, watercolor
and oil. Ping has been sharing her passion for art for many years, and is
dedicated to helping children develop artistically.
