Enjoy a performance by a young orchestra conquering complex repertoire! The Young People’s Symphonic Orchestra (YPSO) consists of advanced high school musicians who join together each week to prepare a stunning and memorable performance. The programmed music can consist of lush and romantic melodies, intense and demanding passages, to fun Broadway tunes and dancing rhythms. This orchestra is the most advanced of the Community Music School’s ensembles, performing a wide range of orchestral literature in its original form.
This concert takes place in the Concert Hall of the CMS Center at Webster University and is free and open to the public. Parking is available at the Garden Plaza Parking Garage just down the street at 554 Garden Avenue.
The Community Music School of Webster University is funded in part by the Arts and Education Council.
