Jazz Quartet BIO:

The Jerome Bryerton (percussion)/ Damon Smith (bass) duo started in the mid 1990s with Bryerton driving from Santa Rosa to Smith’s Oakland address. Their sessions lasted all day, in various formations, often including a trio with Marco Eneidi. When Bryerton moved to Chicago, the scale had changed, collaborating with more musicians including Wolfgang Fuchs. For this quartet, Chris Smentkowski (guitar) and Jeremy Melsha (trombone) will be joining them. Bryerton, Smith, & Fuchs trio toured the USA and Europe and issued a critically acclaimed CD: Three October Meetings – the third release on Balance Point Acoustics.
