Crooked Art Soiree — all art will be displayed askew

Bring in the New Year/end the decade with a new perspective…. Limited engagement: Dec 30 thru Jan 3, 2020 with the closing reception/pickup Fri, January 3, 2020 6-8 pm.

Has everything felt a bit uneven, off kilter lately? Well dig up one of your forgotten masterpieces you couldn’t quite finish for some unconscious reason, tweak it to show your angst, and frame or hang it askew to realign the universe. All art must be displayed, whether 2D or 3D, nonlevel, nonsquare, nonsensical. Call if you need assistance designing/fabricating a nonsquare frame (Bruce 636.699.0579) All media accepted; you create it and we’ll display it. As for the reception, simple costumes invited (maybe a fun hat or crazy tie, or name tag). Not convinced to attend? Dr. Howard will assist you in making Shrinky Dink art…..

THE FACTS: Application form at www.stcharlesart.org Fee is $5 per piece, up to 3 pieces. Gallery retains 25% of sales. Drop off Sat Dec 28 1-4, Sun Dec 29 10-1
