Deaf Visual Arts Festival

This is the largest component on the Deaf Visual Arts Festival Week. The festival is a celebration of diversity, culture, unique differences and similarities through visual and performance art. We aim to bring together children and adults who are deaf/hard of hearing, their families and the hearing community, who shared the same vision of celebrating the visual and performance arts created by deaf/hard of hearing individuals. Over 24 deaf/hard of hearing artists gather and set-up displays to show their artwork. The mainstream population would be taken surprised by uniqueness artworks and learn about Deaf culture. The festival is accessible to both the mainstreamed population and the deaf community.
