Diversity Awareness Partnership’s Diverse-City Art Competition gives students the opportunity to express, through art, their understanding and awareness of diversity and inclusion within their communities and schools. All students, K-12, from the St. Louis Metropolitan area are welcome to participate.
Artists’ submissions can include watercolors, oils, pastels, pen and ink, charcoal, photography, two dimensional, sculptures, mixed media, computer-generated and digital pieces (including animation, video and motion work).
A panel of judges will evaluate entries on the basis of theme interpretation, composition and originality. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded in each of 4 groups, divided by grade level.
Artwork and a submission form must be mailed or delivered to Diversity Awareness Partnership by April 3rd.
