Anna Youngyeun is a St. Louis fiber artist who was born in Hawaii. She received
a BFA in Studio Arts from Truman State University as well as an MFA in Textiles
from the University of Kansas. Anna served as a visiting professor at Berea
College and is on the faculty of Craft Alliance Gallery. Coming from a
multicultural family of seamstresses, tailors and upholsterers, she creates textiles
that allow her to explore her identities.
