Film Screening + Q&A: This Movie is a Gift (Anja Salomonowitz, 2019)

In this film about the artist Daniel Spoerri, filmmaker Anja Salomonowitz intertwines Spoerri’s work with his biography, including his childhood as the son of a Romanian Jew who was murdered in a Nazi death camp in 1941. The film also includes the short film Resurrection (1968) by Tony Morgan and Daniel Spoerri. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Meredith Malone, associate curator.
