Finishing the Hat: Students Sing Sondheim

The Fine and Performing Arts Department will host area students in two special performances of the music of acclaimed composer and 2018 St. Louis Literary Award honoree Stephen Sondheim.

At 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, the performance will feature area high school students from Grand Center Arts Academy, John Burroughs School, Parkway Central High School, Rosati Kain High School, Visitation Academy, Webster Groves High School and Westminster Christian Academy.

At 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, students from Lindenwood University Meramec College (SLCC), Saint Louis University, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, University of Missouri St. Louis, Washington University and the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University, will perform.

Both programs will be presented in the Saint Louis University Theatre located in Xavier Hall, 3733 West Pine Mall, on the SLU campus.
