Focus on Photography: A Workshop for Youth with Autism

Ages: 13-18
Join us for adventures in photography! Our virtual workshop teaches students the fundamentals of photography, artistic composition, learning to see what makes a good picture and teaching students to use their cell phones to take more creative photographs and tell stories. Photographs will be exhibited two weeks after the final class.

Max Bouvatte is a professional photographer and videographer from St. Louis, Missouri.
Max has been using his camera to tells stories for over 15 years. He has worked for a number of publications across the country, including the San Francisco Chronicle and the Webster-Kirkwood Times.

Max enjoys helping others, and his work for the St. Louis Arc as well as teaching at Maryville University are a few ways he connects and grows with the people around him. Max hopes to share with you the power the camera has to reveal things about ourselves and the world around us.
