FREEDOM VILLAGE GATHERING

Freedom Village Gathering will be an insightful conversation with Faye Dant, Roberta Rogers, and Gwen Moore on black place-making in our communities along the Mississippi River, including Hannibal, Missouri, and Brooklyn, Illinois. Speakers cross land and generations, sharing their lived experiences, historical references, and future visions. Performance Artist Basmin will hold space Honoring the Water. Afterwards, a Sunday Meal will be shared. All are welcome to join for this free event.
