Gena Brady, Photography in the Gallery: New Landscapes

Please join us as we celebrate Subterranean Books’ own Gena Brady, with an opening reception Friday, March 1, 6-8pm. The show will be up through April 30.

“It’s been hard to see anything for a long time. I recently started to look out, past all the people, objects and cities – beyond myself.”

ABOUT GENA: Like so many before me, I discovered my calling to this medium with a need to feel a connection to people and explore the world. When I began shooting in 2000, I shot solely in 35 mm black and white film, equipped with an old Nikon camera, processing my own prints in a darkroom. After about ten years, my work began to shift into the world of color and I now mainly utilize digital mediums in both camera and printing processes.
