Glimpses Through the Veil

Early childhood trauma can cause one’s vital embodied core, or “divine spark,” to be “buried” in a deep layer of the psyche for many years, a lost soul in suspended animation, fiercely guarded by an innate, autonomous “self-care system” that needs to be engaged consciously in order to release the innocent core to renewed vitality and joy. Psychotherapy can help. Internationally renowned psychologist, Jungian analyst, and author, Donald Kalsched, PhD, will discuss the self-care system and its engagement in a lecture, a workshop, and a colloquium sponsored by the C.G. Jung Society of St. Louis. More info at jungstlouis.org.
