Hanser-McClellan Duo at The Chapel

The Hanser-McClellan Guitar Duo (HMGD) will perform in concert this Friday beginning at 7pm as part of a fundraising event for St. Louis Bella Corda (SLBC). SLBC is raising money for general operations, and the purchase of much-needed equipment such as new stands and a contrabass guitar. There is no set charge, but we do ask the attendees make a donation to be used toward the purchase of new stands (approx. $300) and contrabass guitar (approx. $2100). The recommended donation is $10, but we promise no one will try and talk you out of giving more…!

The HMGD have performed throughout the US and Europe. They have several feature recordings, as well as having recorded and performed with many of today’s guitar luminaries including Vince Gill, Tommy Emmanuel, and Mark Knopfler (of the band Dire Straits). The duo was recently honored by being asked to teach in-residence at the Paris Conservatory of Music and Dance.
