Discover stories of composers who were impacted by the Holocaust in this new collaborative project between the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum.
In this first installment, Helen Turner, director of education and interpretation for the museum, will teach about composer Pavel Haas and his tragic Holocaust experience. The 20-minute composer story will be followed by a performance of Haas’ String Quartet No. 3 played live by musicians of the SLSO.
The one-hour event is free, but reservations are required.
