Join the Sam Fox School at Washington University in St. Louis October 19 for “Climate, Body, and Pleasure: a Typological Approach to Architecture,” a free public lecture from architect Javier García-Germán.
Founder of the award-winning practice TAAs — totem arquitectos asociados — García-Germán is the Sam Fox School’s Ruth & Norman Moore Visiting Professor of Architecture. He also directs the Madrid School of Architecture’s graduate programs in collective housing and ecological building. Recent projects include the Castellana 94 office building and the 159-unit Carabanchel collective housing for the Madrid city council.
Lecture will be in Steinberg Hall. Free parking available in the East End Garage beginning at 5:00 p.m. Enter the garage from Forsyth Boulevard or Forest Park Parkway.
This lecture is the Ruth & Norman Moore Visiting Professor of Architecture Lecture, part of the Public Lecture Series hosted by the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis.
