LBB Presents ONLINE: Stephen van Dyck – People I’ve Met From the Internet

Left Bank Books welcomes writer and artist Stephen van Dyck, who will discuss his book, “People I’ve Met From the Internet,” on Facebook Live at 7pm CST on June 29. Join us on our Facebook Page and order a copy of “People I’ve Met From the Internet” from Left Bank Books to support authors and independent bookstores! Stephen van Dyck’s “People I’ve Met From the Internet” is a queer reimagining of the coming-of-age narrative set at the dawn of the internet era. Spanning twelve years, the book takes the form of a very long annotated list, tracking Stephen’s journey and the men he meets from adolescence in New Mexico to post-recession adulthood in Los Angeles, creating a multi-dimensional panorama of gay men’s lives as he searches for glimpses of utopia in the available world. All you need to do to participate is log in to your personal Facebook account, go to Left Bank Books’ Facebook Page, “Like” the page, and wait for the livestream to begin on the page.
