Leverage Dance Theater Presents PAUSE

Leverage Dance Theater announces Pause, an interdisciplinary reflection on the disintegration of our social and cultural realities as a result of COVID-19.
A socially distanced event reflecting the extraordinary times and experiences of the pandemic, Pause will feature a series of curated screendance, visual art, collaboration, and live dance performance. Leverage aims to fill in the gaps in our cultural narrative of COVID by focusing on less common and/or
global perspectives; less visible groups and communities, voices in the minority or easily overlooked populations, as part of a comprehensive look into our personal experiences as artists and humans living in Pause.
The event will feature local dance and visual artists, alongside international dance filmmakers, selected from submissions from multiple countries.
In an effort to further reinforce Leverage’s mission and provide the most accessibility for those that might have been affected financially by the pandemic, tickets will not have a fixed cost but rather a suggested donation.
Due to COVID guidelines and restrictions, audience sizes will be limited and patrons will be required to maintain minimum distances from other groups of attendees, and masks will be required. Please visit our website leveragedancetheater.org for additional information regarding accessibility limitations.
Reservations for Pause will be available at tickets.leveragedancetheater.org beginning March 7.
