Linocut Printmaking with Stephen Wiggins

Learn how to make art through linocut printmaking with artist Stephen Wiggins in this three-hour workshop. Wiggins will show you how to carve designs and images in linoleum that can then be used to create prints on paper. All materials will be provided for this free program for teens and adults.

This workshop is presented as part of the Library’s American Creed: Community Conversations program series. Workshop participants are encouraged (though certainly not required) to submit their work for inclusion in August’s Illustrating American Creed community art exhibition in The Gallery. For more information on either the workshop or the exhibition, call 314-727-3150.

American Creed: Community Conversations is a project of Citizen Film in partnership with the American Library Association and the National Writing Project, with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
