In 1979, the names of 214 St. Louisans who lost their lives in Vietnam were engraved in the Court of Honor at Soldiers Memorial. Since then, an additional 254 St. Louisans who made the supreme sacrifice in that war have been identified. Join us for the historic rededication of the Vietnam memorial with the addition of these 254 heroes.
Enjoy a performance by the Red and Black Brass Band, then join in as they lead a procession to the Court of Honor. During the procession, visitors will be able to pick up yellow carnations that represent “Gold Star Families” and lay them at the Memorial. Following the ceremony, tours of Soldiers Memorial will be offered.
