Michaele and Daniel Herrera

Join us for an intimate evening of jazz in the lounge of the Blue Strawberry! With a voice that is pure and powerful, Michaele returns to the venue to sing an exciting selection of her favorite standards. You’ll also be privy to the debut of several charming original jazz compositions, co-written with Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis recipient Ryan Marquez. Her sweet and playful performance style has been heavily influenced by the immortal vocalists Ella Fitzgerald and Judy Garland, and she brilliantly captivates her audiences with her depth of musical expression.

Performing with her is Daniel Herrera. One of the most promising young pianists in St. Louis, Daniel has quickly turned heads with his incredible playing. After coming through Jazz St. Louis’ JazzU program, many have seen Herrera around town as a member of the Kendrick Smith Quartet.
