Music Under the Night Sky

The Gateway Festival Orchestra invites you to “Music Under the Night Sky,” the first of four summer concerts at Washington University in St. Louis.

Join guest conductor Leon Burke III and the musicians of the Gateway Festival Orchestra in the open air of the Brookings Quadrangle for a musical tour of the universe. The concert begins with Beethoven’s 6th Symphony, the “Pastorale.” From there, you’ll hear music from Star Trek and Star Wars. Finally, enjoy Grofé’s Grand Canyon Suite.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and a picnic to this free concert.
