National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest single-day volunteer effort. It celebrates the connection between people and green space in their community, inspires environmental stewardship and encourages the use of open space for education, recreation and health benefits.
Sept. 23 marks the 30th annual National Public Lands Day. Gateway Arch National Park and Gateway Arch Park Foundation have teamed up for it as a way to recognize how important green spaces are to our community.
National Public Lands Day activities, including an all-levels yoga session, the B.A.R.K. Ranger Picnic and the MonArch Sustainability Fair, are free and open to people of all ages, with select activities open to pets.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., you, your friends and your family can also participate in the St. Louis Riverfront Clean-Up. See you there!
