Details

September 15, 2019 marks the ninth year that Art & Faith St. Louis presents a free concert at The Sheldon Concert Hall to bring our community together. Our mission is to promote a harmonious a St.Louis by using the power of the arts to inspire and build bridges among people of diverse backgrounds.

THE CONCERT
This year’s concert, “Songs of Hope,” will feature both adult and young singers and musicians from faith communities across the metropolitan area who will share their music and words of hope with us. The Interfaith Youth Chorus directed by Maria Ellis will perform along with celebrated soprano Christine Brewer.

STORYTELLING
Words of hope from different faith traditions will set the context for the musical performances all tuned to build bridges of understanding.

AFTER THE CONCERT
We will build a “Hope Mural” together. Immediately following the concert, performers and audience members will be invited to help create a “Hope Mural” out in front of The Sheldon.
