The Left Bank Books Foundation, Maryville Talks Books and the St. Louis Poetry Center present Left Bank Books’ Not So Late Night with host Cheeraz Gormon, musical guest Katarra & the SoFolkz, and special guests Eve L. Ewing and Hanif Abdurraqib!

Eve L. Ewing is a writer and scholar from Chicago. She is the author of “Electric Arches” and “When the Bell Stops Ringing: Race, History, and Discourse amid Chicago’s School Closures.”

Hanif Abdurraqib is a poet, writer, and cultural critic from Columbus, Ohio. He is the author of “The Crown Ain’t Worth Much” and “They Can’t Kill Us Until They Kill Us,” and co-author of the chapbook “Vintage Sadness.”.

Katarra & The SoFolkz is a collaboration of Saint Louis born artists whose respective genres (from hip-hop, to soul, to jazz) are fused into one collaboration of dopeness, an abundance of soul.

St. Louis native Cheeraz Gorman is a storyteller, poet, and advertising creative, and author of “In The Midst of Loving.”
