The Observable Reading Series on November 5 will feature Andrea Scarpino and Nathan McClain. Brought to you by St. Louis Poetry Center, the Observable Series welcomes poets to Dressel’s Public House (CWE). Reading begins at 7:30 p.m. in the upstairs loft of the restaurant.
ANDREA SCARPINO is the author of the poetry collections Once Upon Wing Lake (Four Chambers Press, 2017), What the Willow Said as It Fell (Red Hen Press, 2016) and Once, Then (Red Hen Press, 2014). Her upcoming edited anthology is Undocumented: Great Lakes Poets Laureate on Social Justice (MSU Press).
NATHAN MCCLAIN’s debut collection is Scale (Four Way Books, 2017). He is the recipient of the 2017 Gregory Pardlo Fellowship from The Frost Place, and a graduate of Warren Wilson’s MFA Program for Writers. He is a Cave Canem Fellow. He lives in Brooklyn and teaches creative writing at Drew University.
