Observable Readings – Arthur Sze and Steven Schreiner, September 9
The Observable Reading Series on September 9 will feature Arthur Sze and Steven Schreiner. Brought to you by St. Louis Poetry Center, the Observable Series welcomes poets to Dressel’s Public House (CWE). Reading begins at 7:30 p.m. in the upstairs loft of the restaurant. The reading is free, with auggested $5 donation at the door
ARTHUR SZE is a poet, translator, and editor. He is the author of ten books of poetry and is a professor emeritus at the Institute of American Indian Arts. From 2012-2017, he was a chancellor of the Academy of American Poets and, in 2017, was elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.
STEVEN SCHREINER teaches at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is the author most recently of Belly (Cervena Barva, 2015) and the founding editor of Natural Bridge, a journal of contemporary literature.
