Thonis-Heracleion and Canopus once celebrated as one of the most secret ceremonies of Egypt: the Mysteries of Osiris. Hear Franck Goddio, underwater archaeologist and exhibition curator, discuss his archaeological excavations and how they have solved a 2,000-year enigma and have brought forth new information to light. This lecture is part of “Sunken Cities: Egypt’s Lost Worlds,” opening March 25th at the Saint Louis Art Museum.
