PHOTOGRAPHY & CREATIVITY WORKSHOP FOR GIRLS

Photography & Creativity Workshop for Girls Saturday, January 4, from 1 – 4 p.m.
By Photo Explorations and Hosted by Empowered Spaces

Explore photography and other creative forms of self-expression with author/photographer, Cathy Lander-Goldberg, MSW, LCSW. Girls will learn picture taking tips, participate in an empowering self-portrait photo shoot, be part of a fun, group portrait and use art, collage, photo captioning and cropping to enhance portraits. Everyone will create 2 individual self-portraits printed on site to be used in her own signed copy of Cathy’s workbook: PHOTO EXPLORATIONS: A Girl’s Guide to Self-Discovery Through Photography, Writing and Drawing.

Best suited for those in Grades 3rd through 7th

No camera is necessary (though okay to bring). Portrait equipment, props, book and art materials will be provided. BRING: Each girl should bring 5 to 10 COPIES of pictures that tell her life story.
