Pick the City UP

Pick the City UP Tour presents Saint Louis Story Stitchers unique brand of urban storytelling, featuring live hip hop, spoken word and story magic on public health issues St. Louis cares about including gun violence prevention. Now in its 2nd year, the Tour stops at community centers, neighborhoods, parks, and cultural venues across St. Louis, using the arts as a catalyst for neighborhood community building. Pick the City UP Tour is about learning ways to better love ourselves and one another. Live performances act as a catalyst for neighborhood health care resource fairs. Entertainment, vendors, games, music, DJ, family-fun!

Story Stitchers perform at 11:00.

Community Partners: Greater Episcopal Church of God, City of St. Louis Parks.

2018 featured artists include Howard Cox, KP Dennis, Cheeraz Goremon, Caph Guei, Reggie McNichols, Bobby Norfolk, and Stitchers Youth Council.
Produced by Susan Colangelo and and Joel P. E. King of JPEK CreativeWorks.
