River Styx Reading Series

The River Styx Reading Series spotlights nationally recognized authors in the new High Low Literary Arts venue at Grand Center. November 18th will feature Rion Amilcar Scott and Jane Ellen Ibur.

Rion Amilcar Scott’s work has been published in journals such as The Kenyon Review, Crab Orchard Review, PANK, The Rumpus, Fiction International, The Washington City Paper, The Toast, Akashic Books, Melville House and Confrontation, among others.

Jane Ellen Ibur is the current St. Louis Poet Laureate whose work has appeared in literary journals and anthologies since 1972. As an arts educator for more than 35 years, she has been lauded for her determination to bring the experience of poetry and creative writing to people of every age, in every imaginable setting, including public schools, jails, museums, residential schools, social service agencies, veterans’ facilities and homeless shelters.
