St. Louis Poetry Center Sunday Workshop – September 15 with Jane Ellen Ibur

St. Louis Poetry Center’s signature program, the Sunday poetry workshop, for September 15 will be held 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. at the Regional Arts Commission and will feature as critic Jane Ellen Ibur. Free parking in the Pageant and Metrolink lots; Metered parking on Delmar is free on Sundays.

Jane Ellen Ibur is a poet and arts educator living in St. Louis. She is the author of Both Wings Flappin’, Still Not Flyin’ and The LittleMrs./Misses, both published by PenUltimate Press. She has garnered much recognition as an arts educator with over 35 years experience teaching writing in public schools, jails, museums, residential schools, social service agencies, with veterans, homeless men, the young and old. Lead faculty for the Community Arts Training (CAT) Institute, she is one of its founders. For 19 years she co-hosted and co-produced Literature for the Halibut on KDHX community radio. She currently serves as poet laureate for the city of St. Louis.
