St. Louis Repast: Plates with a Past

Hungry for the past and what covered the plate? Food historian and culinary writer Suzanne Corbett will share a tasty look back at fabled foods, repasts and dining haunts both past and present that enjoy a savory rich history. Come bring your appetite and your memories to share.
Suzanne Corbett is a national award-winning writer and media producer. She contributes to St Louis Post-Dispatch, RealFoodTraveler.com, AAA Traveler and AAA World Magazines, to name a few. In addition, Suzanne is a frequent media guest and has served as the host and producer of Hot Plates that aired on KSLG 1030AM. She also serves as a food historian/living history foodways interpreter with the local National Parks Service. Her award winning books include The Gilded Table: Recipes and Table History from the Campbell House, Pushcarts & Stalls: The Soulard Market History Cookbook and Unique Eats and Eateries of St. Louis.
