Staged Reading of David Lee White’s Fixed

This performance is a staged reading: the actors will perform the play without a set or costumes. This form of theatre allows us to dig deep into the text and characters of the script. This reading will be directed by Tom Kopp. From New Play Exchange: “What would you sacrifice for the people you love? Ronnie doesn’t want help. Valerie and Daryl don’t want to reunite. But high school vows bind pretty tightly. Broken promises and dark humor fill David Lee White’s new play about friendship, mental illness, and facing the truth.” After the show is over, Solid Lines Productions will announce a new partnership with a local organization dedicated to combating the stigmas attached to mental health and supporting those who struggle with mental illness. We will also announce a new effort to promote awareness and fundraising for mental health, and invite all audience members and supporters to join us in that endeavor.

Admission to all of our performances is free, but donations will be accepted.
