Learn the art of strip-pieced quilting to create a set of placemats to match your home decor. Using upcycled fabrics, participants will design and piece their placemats together in the first session. The class will meet again to cover the process of quilting their pieced top, batting, and backing together. Participants will learn an easy technique to make miter corners as well as make and stitch binding to finish off their placemats.
Please note, that this two-day workshop takes place on Tuesdays, June 20 and June 27 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm both sessions.
