Yolanda Loy Macon Owens is professionally known as “Yolanda Loy” the smooth, sultry, soulful singing Soulstress. Her musical influences are Aretha Franklin, Chaka Kahn and Rachelle Ferrell. Yolanda was born to Pastor Leroy and Jimmie Macon on July 2nd, 1969 in East St. Louis, Illinois where she began singing at 5 years old.
She has been given many opportunities to share her amazing gift and has shared the stage with many known/respected Entertainers and Musicians around the world such as Vickie Winans, Jubu Smith, Donnie “DMajor” Boynton, Glen Jones and many more. Although very grateful for every opportunity and extremely grateful for the many people she has met and shared the stage with, Yolanda is most grateful for being chosen by GOD to bring joy, comfort, peace and encouragement to everyone through her gift of singing.
