Searching for extremely rare historic ensembles, cultivating relationships with contemporary fashion designers, and the research, planning and expertise necessary to style a major fashion exhibition make up some of the fascinating behind-the-scene stories that Sharon S. Takeda, Senior Curator and Department Head of Costume and Textiles at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), will reveal in this fully illustrated lecture outlining the development of the groundbreaking exhibition, “Reigning Men: Fashion in Menswear, 1715 – 2015.”

All events in The Farrell Auditorium, including free events, are ticketed. Tickets to the exhibition and related programs may be purchased or reserved in person at the Museum’s Information Centers or through MetroTix at or 314.534.1111. All tickets purchased or reserved through MetroTix incur a service charge; the service charge is waived for tickets purchased or reserved at the Museum.
