The Boy from Oz

STAGES invites you to celebrate the quintessential 1970’s showman, Peter Allen, with the Midwest Premiere of the smash Australian hit that played to sold-out houses on Broadway, THE BOY FROM OZ. A rags to riches story that is as dazzling and hilarious as the legendary Peter Allen himself, THE BOY FROM OZ follows the Australian singer-songwriter from his humble beginnings performing in backcountry pubs to his international stardom beside such Hollywood icons as Judy Garland and her daughter Liza Minnelli. Featuring over 25 of Peter Allen’s beloved hits like “I Honestly Love You,” “Everything Old Is New Again,” “Don’t Cry Out Loud,” “Not the Boy Next Door,” and the irresistible “I Go To Rio,” THE BOY FROM OZ is a love song to three show business legends that you’ll be singing from curtain up to curtain down!
